From 1896 to 2004, Great Britain has won 668 Summer Olympics medals, 188 of which are gold. The United Kingdom has more gold medals than Greece, Cuba, Spain, Brazil, Argentina and India combined… Only 177 days to go!

Great Britain is the only team to have won at least one gold medal at each Summer Games! Only 182 days to go!  

In our opinion the weirdest Olympic Event has to be …..   POODLE CLIPPING!   It only featured in the Paris Olympic Games in 1900. A Farmers’ wife won as she managed to trim 17 Poodles in just 2 hours!
