The National Skills Academy
-Apex Multisports are working in partnership with the National Skills Academy to create 19 New jobs with Apex Training starting in February 2011. The candidates have been carefully selcted to match the roles of Sport and Dance Coaches, PT Instructors and Administration and Marketing administrators. The particpants will be given vocational training to develop their qualifications and experience. Apex first piloted this Project in May 2010 with terrific results. 2 out of the 6 candidates are starting with Apex in the January 2011. Pro-Action Since April 2010 Apex Multisports have been running a large Livewire project with Pro Action Hertfordshire. Apex Coaches are delivering 8 x 1.5 hours to over 20 Uniform
groups and Youth Clubs in Hertfordshire. Sessions vary from activities such as Dance, Football, Basketball, Dodgeball and can develop into Team-work tasks, Leadership Skills and working with others. Some of the groups from the Uniform Sector such as the Cubs, Brownies, Guides and Scouts are working with the Apex Coaches to enable the attendees to achieve Sport and Health related Badges. The feedback from the groups regarding the delivery by the Apex Coaches has been fantastic and we are pleased to be continuing this project in the New Year.
